Xbox Deals?

Looking to get DS and Xbox for his birthday. We have 2 Wiis and handheld game systems. I know nothing about the Xbox system.

Should I look for the 4gb or the 250gb? What is the memory used for? Is it necessary?

Is the Kinect worth the extra money? Does it work well?

Are there any bundle deals out there that anyone knows of?

TIA

I would get the higher memory version. The players store their games as they play them and you can never have too much memory.

We don't have the Kinect so I can't comment on that.

You often see bundles that come with specific games. I don't see that you really save any money though.

Agreed with everything Planogirl said!:thumbsup2 Don't buy the smaller system as you will be wasting your money. I also don't have kinect yet, the kids are hoping to get that for Christmas this year.

Assuming you don't think it takes away from the gift at all, consider purchasing a system at Gamestop... you'll save a few bucks. Even the games you can get there. I did this for DS10 last Christmas, and he was no less happy than he would have been with a "brand new" one.

The kinect is unlike anything else currently available, definitely worth trying some time. You can always buy the system and get the kinect at a later time, though.
