I imagine it is stressful, but I think a campaign is good preparation for the White House, should Senator Kerry win.

She's not going to have a lot of time to just "be" being First Lady and running a multi-million dollar philanthropic organzation either.

On various boards I visit I have learned I should vote for Pres Bush because:

1. Kerry's wife sleeps in a seperate hotel room
2. He doesn't have military medals and medals (as I learned in another thread) don't make a president (so therefore I shouldn't vote for someone who has medals)
3. Laura Bush is nicer looking, kinder looking, and prettier than Theresa Heinz Kerry.
4. Laura Bush suffered the tragedy of killing someone in a car accident.
5. George Bush is better looking than "Lurch".

I don't read Drudge regularly, but the stuff reported on the DIS does not meet this description. The ridiculous link in this thread, for example, is an "exclusive."

While it's true Drudge's site is mainly made up of links to articles on other sites (some legit; some not) he will usually have one or two articles a day that he personally generates- whether it's an "exclusive" (i.e. a story he's breaking himself) or his take on a breaking story. . .

While he has in the past broken news-worthy and accurate stories (Clinton and the infamous "Blue Dress" is one that comes to mind) he is notorious for printing anything that's told to him as fact and his batting average for acuracy is pretty low. . .

So they had a fight and slept in seperate rooms....oh my how horrible! How many here can say they never had that happen at all during their married life? I can imagine that living life in a fishbowl is tough, and on the road for some "alone time" to cool down you either go sit in a bathroom or get another room. I'm sure past presidents and their wives have at one time or another had a spat and slept apart.

Listen, samsara, I get my "facts" and "news" from an array of different places.

I take all of them with a grain of salt, particularly Drudge exclusives and the New York Times and I try to fact-check them with other sources.

But I'm not so sure that Drudge's "batting average" for exclusives would be considered low. I wonder if anyone in the blogosphere keeps stats?
