My son is wanting an Xbox 360 for his birthday...we already have a wii game system. Anybody know where I can get a deal on one? Can you add the kinect later on if I just get the game system now? How much are xbox games? Thanks for any information and help!

QVC had a good deal on their website. It's $369 with 5 easy pays and you get zumba and 2 other free trial games.

You can add the Kinect after but it works out to be less expensive if you buy it as a bundle.

This week Radio Shack has the Xbox with Kinect for $299 plus you get a $100 GC. They sell games so you can use the GC towards them and they range from $30-$60.

Best Buy has the xbox with Kinect and a $50 GC.

Most retailers will have some kind of GC deal with the Xbox this time of year.

That is a good deal Radio Shack has!!

I don't remember the price but I know the bundle with knect was a better deal. The games are about the same as wii prices about 50$ my dh orders his games on amazon for cheaper though and when the next sport game comes out his trades the last game in for about 50 percent back and puts that towards the new game.

Are the best buy and radio shack the same size hard drive? (I am not in the market for one, but I know my oldest has been wanting to buy his own. He does not like to share with his brothers...even at 19.)

They are both the 4gb bundle. Your son may be saving for the bigger size hard drive.

After having to go out and spend $130 for a hard drive this weekend I can tell you it is so worth getting the bundle with the drive! I am kicking myself because I thought I'd save money by getting the 4 gig one but the reality is that 4 gig is just enough room for one game and if you want to play other ones then you have to uninstall one and install another. Save the hassle, get the 250 bundle!

Its for the 4GB but there are bundles with the kinect and the 250 just not sure what promos they have for them now, if any.
I debated on the 4Gb or the 250 and the 4GB won out because of cost and the fact that you can purchase an external harddrive for less than the price difference of the console costs. Also we don't play online and I think that makes a big difference, we have had our Xbox since last Christmas and haven't run into any storage issues.
I think a 19 year old is probably wanting the 250 for his gaming needs.

Thank you so much....got the Radio Shack deal! They applied the GC directly to my purchase so I got the system bundle for $199!!!!
