Family is staying there in two weeks. I called and spoke to the Hotel Manager's Assistant and the Director of Front Desk Operations because we had several concerns. I'll say this for the staff. They bent over backwards to solve our problems and far exceeded my expectations!
I was assured that the pictures on the web site are old and not what you're getting (thank goodness - the original interior decorator had to have been color blind!)
Wyndham took over the hotel less than a year ago and they've been making improvements as fast as they can. The windows were redone (a big concern of mine going down in hurricane season), The hideous fire engine red bedspreads are gone. they are working on the portico and outside entrance right now.
Given how helpful they were to me today, I'm looking forward to this vacation.
