Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek

We are staying two nights at this hotel in December before our CSR stay with Free Dining kicks in. The hotel not the timeshare.

Anything we should know about this resort? It looks great in the pics. Most of the reviews are positive. The mixed reviews seem to be from the timeshares not the hotel.

We have a Grand Deluxe King room booked which I believe has a balcony. Are the best room views facing the pool?

Most of the info on DIS seems to be about the timeshares or Bonnet Creek Hilton, not much on the Wyndham Grand.

I haven't personally stayed here, but we always stay at the timeshares which is attached. You can use the facilities at both. You will love the hotel and resort itself. We frequently eat at their poolside restaurant and go have a drink in one of the lounges and coffee from the coffee bar. The hotel itself is beautiful and you will love all the pool options you will have along with a couple lazy rivers at Bonnet Creek and multiple hot tubs. I think you will love it! Have a great trip!!!

Since you are already booked, I assume you are aware that in addition to the nightly rate, there's a $20 daily resort fee and a $20/nightly parking fee (if you have a car). Some people book hotels on travel websites that don't readily disclose all of the additional fees upfront.

Yes I'm Aware. We won't have a car and we got a great price even with the extra $20/night. Used CC points anyway, so technically "free".
