I am renting as well. From what I understand is they will ask you when you check in but if you say no that is the last they will ask. I am hoping that is right because I don't want to bugged about buying in.
You definately do not have to attend a sales presentation, but they will ask. They will probably ask more than once as you get you parking pass. Sometimes they will even sweeten the deal by upping the amount they will give you.
Agree with the above. Just say no and if you don't want to be bothered with further offers, let them know that too, and it's doubtful they'll call again after that. Have a fun stay - excellent resort!!!
I have been reading up more on BC and some people have said that literature left under the door and even a mesage on their machine regarding buying into the resort. I failed to make note of when people said they experienced this. Perhaps they are not doing it anymore.
I didn't even get asked. We checked in, and then had to go to another desk for our parking pass (which is when I expected them to start their spiel). They gave me the parking pass and the welcome packet and that was it!
You in no way are obligated to take any tour offered to you by Wyndham. Some times when you go to get your parking pass, they will ask if you are interested in free gifts and try to sign you up for a tour. Tell them you are there only to be on vacation and you do not wish to be bothered by any other staff member during the week. Have a great time at Bonnet Creek if you decide to stay there. We really like it there and for the amount of room and location you can't beat it.
