Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what the 'seasons' are at Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort? Do they have value, regular and peak seasons like WDW onsite hotels?

Since our kids are in college, we can travel anytime during their winter break (Dec 19th thru Jan 25th)...I wanted know if one week is better than the other -price wise. We want to travel at a time when we can get the best airline deals (we are traveling from the West Coast).

TIA!

For timeshare exchange purposes, the January time is a lower value. Not sure about renting, but a quick call should tell you if their rates go down in January.

I guarantee the week between Christmas and New Years will be most expensive and hardest to get. We booked a 4 br unit at another resort starting Dec 19. That is easier to get than the following week.

Here is a link to their points chart.. it tells you what their seasons and points needed for each time-frame are.. I hope this link works without you having to "join" the site.. if not, just join.. they have a lot of info on Bonnet Creek

you do have to join to view it...sorry...it is free to join & it is for anyone, not just owners. I am not an owner.

The week begining Dec 18,19,or 20 and the following week are prime weeks. They are considered weeks 51 and 52. The three weeks preceeding those weeks are the value weeks. In 2010 Weeks 1-6 (which begin Jan 1, 2, or 3) and go for the next 6 weeks are high season which costs a little less than prime.
Hope this helps,

Not sure if you can read this but it is the best I can do, for some reason I cannot do a copy & paste on this point chart.. so if you don't want to join the above link.. here is a pic thru photobucket on the point chart.. Jan is high season...

hmmm...thanks for all of the replies.

We would like to rent a 2 bedroom unit from an owner. What would be the best rate per night we could expect to pay during 'high' season?

TIA!

Check out vacationupgrades.com. Ken Price is a reliable owner that many on the DIS (myself included) have rented from. His website lists the Bonnet Creek rates. You will LOVE BC!!!

Yes, I have spoken to Ken--he's the one I would book through--I forgot that I could check his website for his pricing! Thanks! :thumbsup2

I was there last Christmas (arrived the 25th and stayed through the 30th) and paid less than $90 a night for the 2BR. In my case, I waited until the first of December and rented through ebay, so I got a great bargain.
