WWYD - AP park reservation check-in day

I'll be arriving to the parks sometime after lunch. All depends on plane schedules and traffic.

Right now I have a MK park reservation, but I only wanted that for the extended after hours (this will be a Wednesday). When I first arrive, I want to go to Epcot to see if any AP magnets are left and get some snacks.

I'm pretty sure I need to modify my park reservation, but I'm also aware that I don't need one in the afternoon. I'm just not sure of the exact time of my arrival.

Would you switch the day from MK to Epcot?

Only reason I see to have a park res here is if you think you’ll arrive at Epcot before 2pm, in which case you need an EP reservation.
