WWYD? AP/DDE new vs. REnew???

If AP expires June & DDE expires 7/31 & next visit isn't until 9/23 would you renew everything & lose 3 mos on AP just to make everything easier ?

OR

Would you order a new AP voucher & try to order a new DDE card using the voucher # ?

Has anybody had recent success having DDE process an app with an AP voucher # instead of actual # ? Last year I know they wouldn't.

I would order a new AP voucher about 6 weeks before the September trip and then order the DDE about 4 weeks before the trip using the voucher. I have seen many posts here on the DIS where people had no problem ordering the DDE with a voucher.
