WWYD - Adding on 200 direct points

I currently have 300 direct points at VGF split 150, 50, 50, 50. I had originally wanted 3 - 100 point contracts because I have 3 daughters. However, due to minimum contract sizes at the time, one contract was required to be 150, so I just split the other 150 into thirds.
I’m wanting to add another 200 but can’t decide how to split the contract.
100 + 100
75 + 75 + 50
100 + 50 + 50
50 + 50 + 50 + 50
Please vote to help me decide! I would LOVE to hear your reasoning as well if you want to share.

I guess I'd split 100/100 ... that way you could give each kid 150 ( and keep blue card for each)

150/ 50+100/ 50+100

The extra 50 could go to the kid you like the most

I’d go with 100/100. That makes it easy to get each of 3 daughters to 150pts for Blue Card. Just 2 closing costs. 100pts is very nice size to resell, upgrade etc.

Personally I would do 4 x 50.

Should you need to ever sell then a 50 point contract will cost more compared to a 150 or 100 points contract.

I know you pay more in closing cost, but since you are already breaking them up its not much.

Remember to de-select the title insurance when buying direct that will shave a bit off the closing as well.

I would just do 100, and 100 because in order the kids to keep membership extras, they need to own 150…so this gives them each that…and then the other 50 could be sold if no one wants it.

No you can always do it. I personally would only do it for direct purchases.

We just did 150/50 so that both kids can have membership benefits if we ever split up the contracts (already have 125 VGF points), but in your case given that you already have the 50s I’d just do 100/100.

I saw that too, so crazy! We signed it tonight at this lower rate!

So the combining won’t give them blue cards in the future. It works now while the threshold is 150, but once it’s 200 or 300 in however many years, you’ll need 200 or 300 combined. You should do 150/50, so that at least you get one permanent blue card.

You need whatever amount is required at the time of purchase.

So 3 x 50 will qualify now and later.
