WWYD: 2 rooms at CBR or a 2 bedroom villa at OKW?

Hello! I am staying 4 nights end of Sept so that my sister and our total 3 kids (ages 3-6) can go to MNSSHP 🎃.

Might go to parks other days but likely sticking to pools.

For the second 2 nights I rented DVC points at a GF studio for all 5 of us (will be cramped but we love the GF and the walking access to MNSSHP).

For the first 2 nights though, I am torn between these options that are basically equal in price:
  1. 2 connecting rooms at CBR - love the Skyliner access to Boardwalk and pirate pool for kiddos, don't love the rooms
  2. One 2-bedroom villa rental at OKW - love the living room and space to chill
  3. 1 room at GF (resort) - like the idea of staying put, patio for post-bedtime, the monorail access to Poly and Epcot, and only having to move bags across the resort to the villa side after the first 2 nights
WWYD? :smickey:

I would probably choose one room at GF. The littles will love the water play area and both pools. The evening EWP and the fireworks viewing from the resort each night. You can hop on the monorail and visit CR and Poly. You and your sister will appreciate the food at GF and easy transport to other food choices around the monorail loop as well as the balcony for adult luxuriating while kiddos are napping or already in bed. The compact resort will also be handy during the heat and afternoon rain storms. And as you mentioned, as easy move for the last 2 nights of your stay.

Yup, plus aren't there 3 sleeping surfaces? 2 queen beds and a daybed or something like that?
Easier to have Disney bell services store luggage and "move" to the villas side too.

The OKW villa is tempting, but it will be so much easier to just stick with GF. The pool and splash pad are great, you could rent a pontoon boat, ride the monorail etc. - tons to do without going to the parks.

GF would be more convenient with littles. OKW is great, and lots of pool options and room, however it is so spread out, so getting food is not as convenient there unless you have groceries delivered and prepare your own. Now if you have a car, then I would choose OKW, but without I would choose GF.

That is a great call, I was not thinking about the lack of car and getting around. DS gets very car sick so we are a Disney bus/monorail family!! And good point about accessing food easily which is so important with little kids.
