Anyone have experience with buses to/from WWOS during sporting events held there? How frequently do they run between the resorts served (Sports, Pop, and CB) and WWOS? Would you expect transit times simiilar to say DTD and those resorts, longer, shorter? Have a group participating in an event there and trying to figure out how much time to allow for transit before making meal reservations

Thanks!

The Disney buses run every half hour from EWWS to the 3 resorts you listed.

Total travel + wait time could be up to 55 minutes, if you just miss a bus and your resort is the last stop. If you'll be at CBR, you also have to allow for travel time from Custom House to your village.

If your event is providing charter buses, I can't tell you anything about their schedule.

Thanks for the info - I appreciate it. Good to know they run on a set schedule, I didn't expect that given that the rest of WDW busing doesn't run with a schedule. Who at the resorts (Sports) would know what time the buses come - or is that a schedule that's set in stone and the same for all events at EWWS?

You're welcome.

The buses leave EWWS on the hour and half hour, when they're on schedule. The driver doesn't usually wait for a specific time at the resorts, but the bus should arrive at AS Sports sometime between :05-:10, and between :35-:40.

The bus may fall behind schedule when there's a lot of traffic going into or out of the complex due to a large event. Once it's behind, it can take quite a while to catch up.

At all 3 AS Resorts, the bus picks up at the DHS load zone, which is the one furthest from the lobby doors.
