We will be in Orlando on Saturday
, and I have done a little research on some of our favourite restaurants, and its NOT pretty. I was shocked by some of the counter-intuitive nutrition profiles Ive found. For instance, at Friendlys, Im better off with a grilled cheese sandwich than a chicken wrap. (But its CHEESE.
: ) I was pleased with Sweet Tomatoes, though of course Id have to make sure to resist buffet issues of filling my plate over and over!
I know the basicscreamy is bad, grilled is good, dont eat the humongo portions in one sitting, etc. And Im not looking to have steamed tofu and carrot sticks. Just looking NOT to blow my hard work, or end up feeling like I need a nap after lunch. Well be staying in a villa so cooking many of our meals, but spending some time in parks (Universal and Seaworld parks), eating out, and probably looking for interesting groceries and ready-to-eat meals at Publix and the like.
What restaurants do you go to where you can enjoy the food and not feel like a lump after? What about take away or groceries?
