I have heard and read such great success stories from people following the Atkins plan, I just knew that for me and especially with my family, it would be very difficult to follow. I didn't want to fix two separte meals.
I still have a steak if I want it, I just cut it in half and save the other half. Same thing with anything else that comes in large portions. I like that I can eat what I want, I just have to control my portion and watch my points. If I am told I can't have something, that is exactly what I will start craving plus I love my rice, pasta, bread, etc. I do have to say that counting points can sometimes be a pain, but I guess anything concerning weight loss is going to have some pain associated with it to have success.
