I've been on WW for about 8 weeks now and really appreciate the way it's making me think about my food for the week.

What I'm wondering is, for the energy spent going to the parks, does anyone know how to calculate the activity points?

I would wear my pedometer and input my steps as activity. But sadly I think it will be one of those things where you think you are burning alot of calories but you aren't really. Honestly, when I did 10 miles in training for a half marathon I got 17 activity points -- and a third of that was probably related to my weight. You can easily eat way more that you can burn off in activity, even WDW. :flower3:

thanks for the reply, I had thought about wearing a pedometer. I'm planning on running in the mornings. I wish I knew how the activity points were calculated, it seems undervalues, but maybe that's the point :)

80 calories burned equals 1 AP - if you wear a heart rate monitior during exercise you can more accurately figure out your APs earned.

FOr me personally, I don't count walking lat WDW for APs - the walking is not intense enough and I would hate to over calculate, but then again, I don't eat the APs that I earn anyway. I would just chalk up the walking to being good for you!
