Wrong spelling of a first name on doc's, is this an issue?

I know this has been covered before, and I should know this but. . . .DD's name is spelled wrong, a very common misspelling of her name, do I need to correct this?

This happened to us on our last cruise with our friend, Stephen. They had spelled his name Steven. I called our travel agent and they called Disney and had the name changed on the manifest. They told us it could have been an issue because his name is spelled Stephen on his birth certificate. They didn't bother to re-issue the tickets and once we got there, we had no problem. Hope this helps.

my DH was listed as Bobby instead of Robert, and my travel agent changed it as soon as I brought it up. This was only my confirmation papers and reciepts, but I was told that these things can cause problems...

I just spoke to someone at Disney today because they misspelled my first name on my docs. Christi instead of Cristi. She said that I wouldn't have a problem. She said that slight misspellings like that happen all of the time, but if you had something more along the lines of Christine vs Cristi that would cause problems.
