Thanks to everyone who responded to my initial question. This morning I got the great news that our waitlist came through for February, so we'll be spending the whole time in a Boardwalk View Studio at BWV instead of having to switch to a preferred and then switch back half-way through the trip. Woohooo!!!! :woohoo:

The printed confirmation is only sent if requested. The confirmations are meaningless since you can see your reservation on line.

The reality is the reservation can be canceled at any time and you would never know it if you didn't check on line.

DVC does not confirm to see if you still want the waitlist filled or not. If it does fill they will send out another email to the owner - at least the email seems to make it most times.......

DVC would rather email the confirmation ((cheaper and saves paper)). I believe members can still get paper confirmations but they have to call and specifically request them. I don't see the need for it to be on paper however if I get the email.

Thanks everyone for the input. I don't need a written confirmation (I got e-mails), just wondered if I should be expecting one in the mail.

As far as the waitlist question, no need for me to worry about that anymore either since I got an e-mail this morning saying my WL came through. Woohooo!! :woohoo: We'll be in a Boardwalk View Studio this whole trip now, instead of having to switch rooms mid-trip and then switch back, we'll be able to stay put the entire stay. So excited! :yay:
