Wow what a game..

We showed up for a game today.. and we only had 9 players. A lot of coaches will go down and match you in numbers when that happens..
Not this guy he played his full 11...
We had no subs, every girl had to play every minute of the game..that's a LONG hour on the soccer field...
Twice when we had injuries we had to go down to 8 v 11!!
And you know what?? WE WON!!!!!!!
The girls beat this other team 3-2!!!
I don't know how the heck they did it...except that every one of them played their hearts out...
Just unreal... I'm smiling from ear to ear....

What a great bunch of girls!!! They learned a valuable lesson in sportsmanship today. Have to say the coaches around here would either have whittled down their team or not played. Good for you. A job well done by girls and their coach.

Our league rules read that we can play down to 7.
I have never heard of a 7v11 game though...YIKES
