We were at WDW on a lark yesterday and my son begged to go to chef Mickey. I HATE chef Mickey. But we walked in, because he is just too dang cute (even though we'd eaten there twice on our trip last weekend!)
Walked right up at ~5:50 and were seated within 15 minutes. Didn't make ME happy since I hate the place and the food, but the kids were thrilled.
I'm just so shocked it was possible. So if you can't get an ADR, take heart! You might be able to pull it off.

WOW!!
That's Great--I Guess:upsidedow
Glad you made the Kiddos happy:)--to bad the food is not any better.:sick:

Well at least you proved that anything is possible even during free dining since you walked into one of the most popular restaurants in all of WDW, because the worst they could have said was no and that would have been it. So if you don't try to go as a walk-in you won't know what the answer is until they tell you.
