I actually thought DL felt fairly busy yesterday.

same here... i was hoping for it to be empty! wasnt as bad though, there werent any lines when the park opened to get into the park. it usually lined up all the way to the center sometimes.

Oh we were!

Today was so magical with the low crowds and wait times. We rode 14 rides today and we could have ridden more, but decided to just take it easy at the end of the night and do some shopping.

I saw the actress Busy Phillips and she might have also maybe been with another actress (I'm so bad with names) and their friends and/or family. They were with a plaid. That was my first celeb sighting at Disneyland.

Rode Space Mountain single rider today. It was awesome! The CM literally escorted me to the front of the line and I walked right onto the ride, no wait at all.

Got a Pluto popcorn bucket, my first souvenier popcorn bucket purchase ever. It is really so adorable. My son was over the moon.

Bought the most precious Dumbo ornament... we have been looking for one specially and the CM said they only had one Dumbo ornament but it all sold out in the DL store. The CM called around and found them at the World of Disney, so we got one on the way out.

Busy was there with Kelly Oxford. She was posting on her Instagram stories.

Yep, that was her! I am not familiar with her actually but I looked her up just now and that is who I saw. On Wikipedia it says it was her 40th birthday on Wednesday so maybe that is why there were there. Fun thing to do on your birthday.

what are wait times typically like Mid-Week in February? We'll be in the parks Feb 14th and 15th (Wed / Thurs).

The 14th is always kinda busy for Valentine's Day.

I'd expect the parks to be BUSY. With the mid-week you mention there are several factors adding to the mix.

The main one being Valentine's Day on Wednesday.

One draw is that there are rare photo ops with the prince/princess couples (you can't normally see Prince Phillip, Prince Naveen, Prince Charming, Prince Eric, etc.). It's also just a popular place for APs to head to celebrate V-day.

It's usually ok in the morning, but by lunchtime, lots of couples playing hooky roll in, and we waited over 45 minutes for Aurora and Prince Phillip last year.
