We've been going to WDW in October for years. I knew I should make our dinner reservations ahead, but I have never encountered this before that all of our favorites are full at the 60 day mark. We were even open to very early dinners, or even late, but they were still full. I was really holding out to see what the October hours are on the WDW website (which still weren't posted earlier today) so that we could make our dining plans accordingly. Oh well, I hope this info can help others to make the reservations exactly at 90 days...even for the non-character meals! Seems the free dining plan is filling all of the eateries up. We aren't on it, we are renting DVC points. Yikes!

yes, we are frustrated that the schedule isn't out yet too. We've just had to guess and make reservations that we may end up cancelling once the schedule is out. What is the hold up???????? the ressies are probably all taken up by people doing the same thing.......over booking to cancel later b/c Disney is hold out on the schedule, and probably b/c so many are taking advantage of teh dining package. Just MHO

we will be there Sep 22-26, and I just made my ADR's last night....and we are on the free dining plan! The only one I had any trouble with was 50's Prime Time. I couldn't get a time for dinner, but all the lunch times were open, so we took 12:30pm. I think it's because that is an evening EMH day for MGM. I think if the EMH is THAT busy, we will head over to Epcot and see illuminations, then maybe catch the last 1 1/2 hour of EMH if we feel up to it. :earsgirl:

We made ours at 90 days, even w/o the schedule. I didn't want to risk waiting! We got everything we wanted except for an FDP at H&V. The only opening was at 4:30 pm, which is pretty early. But I'm hoping to adjust it later. If not, it's still fine. We'll eat, play, then go to Fantasmic.

We are going Oct 2-13 and I did mine last night and had to adjust some times but nothing too bad (some were a couple of hours in difference). They did say that times were filling up fast though.

We are going Oct. 26-Nov 5 and had not done ours yet. Our timeframe is not in the free dining timeframe. I've been working on my Sep. 14-23 trip, so have not focused on my Oct. trip. Hopefully next week I can come up with a plan.

We will be there 10/2-10/8. I made all my ressies at the 90 day mark because my youngest is diabetic and has to eat within a specific time frame...so park hours or not, 8am is breakfast and 6pm is supper. Even back then, I could not get some places that I wanted or could not get the meals I wanted at certain places. I tried again earlier this week and was able to get everything I wanted but could not get back at the 90 day mark. Keep trying--I bet something will open up soon! Good luck!

i have booked our restaurants at the 90 day mark, but we always book at the 90 day mark to ensure getting time/place. i even have the time i wanted for LTT for mnsshp. however, that was booked more than 90 days out. this is our first october trip and mnsshp...can't wait!! good luck everyone! :earboy2:

I am going Aug.25-Sept.1 and did my AR's a couple of weeks ago. Was able to get everything I wanted even Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose. And today I just booked a AR for 10 people at the Concourse Steakhouse with no prob. I am hoping this means it won't be extraordinarily crowded. :teeth:
