Wow lots of people going in October but who will be there

Last week of October or the first week of November????

Last time we went during this time frame it was extremely busy but there was the Fairy Tale package here and also apparently a great deal in the UK.

Just curious how busy it will be this time, unfortunatley this is the only 2 weeks we can got.

We (Me, DH, and DD7) will be there October 29- November 4- staying at POP.

So far it seems not too many folks have listed these dates... lots the third week of Oct, or the first week of Oct.

Lots of events at WDW are going on the SECOND week of Nov- Jersey Week is Nov 7- 13. Super Soap Weekend is Nov 12- 13. Last weekend of Food & Wine is that weekend, and so is Veterens' Day. It may be Festival of the Masters at DTD then, too.

Hopefully, lots of folks will leave after Halloween weekend, and lots will not arrive until Jersey week. I've got my fingers crossed that the five or six days between will be nice and not too busy.

In the past (2003) we did 10/30-11/8 and found the crowd levels to be just perfect. I think we used only 3-4 FP's the whole trip because most rides were 10 min or less waits. That included things like TT, Splash, Mission Space, TOT, ect....

I think the weather is great that time of year to boot!! I don't think you'll go wrong w/ either week.

We will be going on Oct. 14 or 15th. It was originally the 15th but we are now thinking about the 14th. I don't think the crowds are that bad, but than again we are used to summer corwds.

Mostly for the F&W Festival.

Hope the crowds are at a minimum. Is the first week of Oct. better? I am leary of the wheather. Thinking early Oct. is HOT. We are wimps when it comes to humid/hot temps. Any opinions?

It does seem like a lot of people on the DIS are going in early October doesn't it?
We're going October 26th-November 3rd. We haven't ever gone in October yet but I can't wait! So I really can't give any info on how crowded it is.
I'm really looking forward to the F&W Festival and I'm really hoping Spain will be one of the countries there. My mom will LOVE that!

Count us in! We will be there from October 29-November 5. I hope its just a lot of Disers going at that time because they know that's one of the nicest times to go. The kids are in school so it should be fine....I hope.

Will be there October 22-30. I took the kids there for a funfilled and commando weekend in january. So this time we will be taking our time and relaxing.(yeah right).

We're going from October 30th-Novemeber 13th!! Can't wait! We have had to put our trip off twice now, and we are GOING this time. We have to take DS out of school, but I tried to plan it around some of the days off from school.
