Just priced RT tickets to MCO from Parkersburg and they are $368pp. Will they come down, or should I grab them now before they go up? I've never done airline tickets online, only through a TA. Anyone ever have problems doing it by themselves online?

Thanks!

Is this for your trip in 300+ days? I have no idea how much airfare runs from Parkersville. But, from O'hare, I had it quoted as $318 one week. The following week it dropped to $215 (I booked) and now is back up to $280 (we're going April 08). From experience, I know that I'm happy between $190-$225 so as soon as I saw it at my target rate, I jumped on it.

Hopefully someone else here can give you an idea of whether that is high or low. Try kayak.com to search multiple airlines/options.

Sorry no help - just wanted to make sure you check out kayak.com because it's a great travel tool.

Good luck!

I have never flown out of Parkersburg, but I got RT from PIT to MCO for $34PP each way about 6 weeks before our trip on SW. If it is for your trip 300 days out, then I would keep checking. Also, is it Parkersburg, WV? Maybe you should check other airports that are not too far to drive to. I live in East Central Ohio, about 2 hours N of Parkersburg on 77, and I always check Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh. The differences can be major, so wherever you live, check around. Also, download SW Ding on your computer.
Good Luck

Yes, it's for the Disney trip in April 08'. I would love if I could get rates as low as $200pp/RT, but from Parkersburg (WV), I don't think I'll get it. :sad2: I'll download the DIng, and check out kayak.com. :)

Wow! I'm from Parkersburg too! At least I used to be. I live in Pittsburgh now, but all my family still lives there.

Anyway, I agree with the other posters that kayak and ding are good places to start. And definitely check other airports like Pittsburgh and Cleveland. That can make a huge difference!

You also might try Charleston. I know that my dad has had some luck finding decent fares from there. Good luck!

Hey Lisa! I actually live in Mineral Wells, but you'd never know the difference anymore. Lots of growth going on. I flew out of Charleston the last time we went. This time it's just me and a 4 year old. I wish rates here were as low as Charleston. I'd jump on them. It may be worth it just to be 20 minutes from home rather than an hour and 15 minutes. I guess either way would be okay as long as we get there and back.
