It just started snowing here about an hour ago! Everyone at work is so excited.....we're hoping they'll shut down here so we can go home. It's not sticking to the ground or anything, but it IS SNOWING! We only get this maybe one day a year and hardly ever this late in the year. I have to be excited and enjoy it while I can....it's suppose to be back in the 60's by Sunday.

Is anyone else around getting the snow?

One more good thing...it was cold enough yesterday and today that I got my sweaters out!

Please, please please do not send it our way! We've had more than enough snow already this year. Thank you! :)

Easy come, easy go.....

The snow stopped within 1/2 an hour and the traces of it have melted away. Oh well, that was 30 minutes of fun at least!

Hey GOOF IT UP: Where exactly are you in Central Texas? I'm sitting in Flower Mound right now anxiously awaiting the snow to come - the clouds have rolled in this afternoon but no precip yet. Hoping and wishing for some tonight when I get home!!

We have the snow now in Corsicana! My kids are so excited! I sure hope ours sticks around a little longer. Ok, I admit it, I'm excited too.

By the way, I lived in Waco for about a year, about a year ago!

I heard this morning that IF we get any in the Dallas area, it will likely be after midnight and most of it will be to the south. I would think that Corsicana and Waco are well situated. :)

Yea, I know I heard that too but you never know, expecially with the weather here in Texas, we could all wake up with mountains of snow on the ground or nothing at all, LOL!!!!!!!!! The clouds sure do look like snow clouds though!!

You guys need a few less trips to Florida and a few more trips to the North! I'd send you some snow, there is plenty to spare in my yard!

I just ran up to the post office because my mail man decided to come VERY early today! (10am!:o )

When I was driving home, saw a few little flurries! HOW ROMANTIC! For Valentine's Day!:D Maybe it's mother nature playing a trick on us, it is Friday the 13th!:p

I want snow! I'm in College Station, and it is forecasted, but I'll believe it when I see it. All we've had so far today is sleet (which melted as soon as it hit the ground) and cold rain.

So, a little snow would be nice!

I was actually in a very cold snow storm while skiing in Colorado in December, but it's just different to see it HERE! Next time you look in your yard, think of us crazy people who get excited to see 30 minutes of snow flurries!

I lived in New Hampshire for a year when I was a kid and we saw tons of snow so no thanks. I love how excited DS gets at the possibility though.

I was on a business trip to Texas once in the snow. No one knew how to drive in it. Schools were closing. Cars were in the ditches evewrywhere. No salt-icy bridges. It was a mess. I can appreciate your excitement, but a little snow seems to send you all into orbit!:scared1:
