This is our first real disney trip with the little ones. First on the dining plan. All of this planning is fun but driving me crazy :)
So we are staying for 6 nights late October at the BWV with a 2 1/2 and 4 year old. I am trying to do a nice balance of yummy adult food choices with kid friendly options. We LOVE all types of food. We lived in San Francisco for many years and were lucky to have about any choice of delicious food within walking distance. So we are super excited about staying in walking distance to EPCOT!!!
We finally just figured out our day schedule based on magic hours. I have made just a few ADRs already

Day one: Hollywood Studios
Day two: Magic Kingdom (ADR at Flying Fish BWV for dinner)
Day three: EPCOT -- Le cellier for Lunch (is this a good idea with kids?)
Day four: Hollywood Studios (Dinner at EPCOT Coral Reef)
Day Five: Magic Kingdom--Cinderella's RT Lunch (OOP Thanks Grandma)
Day Six: Animal Kingdom

We have two credits left for TS dinners/lunches. What should we do????? I need help. Also, please let me know if you think I have made some bad choices, I won't be offended. I am a total newbie and need all the help I can get :flower3:

I have not been, but everyone seems to like the Tusker House character breakfast at AK...I would try to do at least one meal with costumed characters! I don't know what time you are arriving on your first day but Cape May cafe has a great character breakfast. We love them. We're going to try their dinner this time around (not character)

Just FYI, since you are call yourself a newbie...you do plan on having park hoppers, correct? You will need them if you want to have dinner at Coral Reef on your second HS day.

Except for the princesses at CRT, you don't have any character meals planned. I'd choose the one with the characters AND food you want.

Crystal Palace at MK has Pooh and all three meals
1900 Park Fare has Mary Poppins at breakfast and Cindy, Prince, step-family at dinner
Tusker House breakfast has Donald, Daisy, Mickey and ????
Garden Grill ddinner has Chip, Dale, Mickey and I think Goofy
Cape May Cafe breakfast has Mickey and ????
Ohana breakfast has Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Goofy
Chef Mickey's has the Fab 5 and all meals

We did! This was a last minute decision to add on park hopper. I am so glad we did since we are just a hop skip and a jump away from EPCOT :)

With kids I agree you need to do a character meal. Characters come right to table so have autograph books and camera's ready. I am not a huge fan of chef mickey (even though it is my DS 11 favorite rest.) but they have Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. If you are looking for a great place to eat my favorite is Ohana for dinner. Get a later adr and watch fireworks from beach of poly. It is relaxing and they pipe in the music.

Make sure you request to sit right by the windows at coral reef.

If your kids like winnie the pooh characters then crystal palace is nice. Breakfast at grand floridian has mary poppins, alice, pooh, tigger, eeyore, mad hatter I believe snow white.

Have a great time. You can't go wrong wherever you eat!
