WOW! I just did the 3 mile WATP for the 1st time!

I can't believe almost 3 weeks ago I had a very hard time getting thru the 1 mile DVD! Here I am having just done the 3 mile! And it really wasn't that bad!!! The worst part for me was the part right before the walk away weights! I did not use the weights this time, it being my 1st and all. But boy do I feel like I accomplished something! So, those of you that have gone on to the 3 mile walk, is that your everyday walk? Or do you mix and match as needed? I am still in disbelief....................

YOU DID ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING! Three miles is nothing to sneeze at, that is a great big distance!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!! If I was there I'd give you a big old congratulations hug. Way to go! You are moving up in your workout really fast too - that's a great challenge for your body, but it also means you are adapting well to this new fitness lifestyle! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
 
I typically switched between the 3 and 4 mile videos. I also did Leslie's older firm video once a week.

That is fantastic!!

Regarding the different tapes - I usually alternate b/w the 2 and 3 mile tape (waiting for the 4 mile to come in) - but it usually depends on time constraints. If I have the 45 minutes, I'll do the 3 mile, but if not I do the 2 mile.

The 3 mile is quite the workout, isn't it !!! I just about died the first time I did it ... we got to 1 1/2 miles, and I just thought, good heavens, I'll never make it (and I wasn't using the weights either). After I finished it, I felt pretty proud of myself. I prefer the 2 mile at this point ... and can always make an excuse that I don't have the 45 minutes to do the 3 mile on a regular basis :rolleyes: I could never do the 3 mile before work 'cause there's no way I'm getting out of bed THAT much earlier ... but my goal is to do it on days when I'm not working, and not going to Curves. Still struggling with that plan ;)

Good job!!

I just started the WATP DVD a couple of days ago and was shocked that I could only do 1.5 miles the first time! I thought I was in better shape than that but this DVD kicks butt!! If you can do 3 mile in just 3 weeks you should be proud of yourself!! Keep up the good work!
