for Charlie Sheen,
there is a tad bit more then drugs after seeing him! I love his work,
but he is gone beyond belief! He seems to border either Bi~polar and in a psychosis, or a schizophrenic state!!
He will be on 20/20 tuesday night, and I just watched him on GMA...
there is definitely more then drug use!

good luck Charlie, hope you get the help you need!

He could be just be in a drug induced psychosis?I did not see the interview.

That being said, he is most certainly in some kind of psychosis. He is destroying his brain with drugs and alcohol.

oh yah, but a lot of times drug addicts and alcohol use stem from a deeper issue, and right now he is talking gibberish! He makes no sense what so ever. He is also being drug tested.
He also went out and got a tattoo recently on his chest in honor of his dad.
Bizarre behavior is not just drug use. There is defiantly more to it.

Well he has tiger and adonis blood soooo.....

Seriously, he is nuts. I feel bad for his kids and his family.

He looks unhealthy as well. He's lost a lot of wieght.

I find it disturbing that a lot of networks seem to be cashing in on what appears to be a very ill man. It doesn't matter how he got that way. He is obviously mentally ill and should be protected in this vulnerable state. I am not sure why his family hasn't applied for conservatorship or something. :confused3

I think it's pretty obvious it's more than just drug addiction. Many mental illnesses become much more pronounced when the person abuses drugs and/or alcohol. I used to think he was just a loser, but I truly feel sorry for him, and hope someone gets him some help. I think it's harder for people who have money and fame, who surround themselves with people who will cater to them. I have a family member who, early on in her career as a doctor, worked at a hotel, and actually gave Michael Jackson the drug that eventually killed him, because it was her job.

He had do those drugs (banging 7 gram rocks cause thats how he roles) cause he is himself, and dying is for fools....

other fave.. He is proud of what he created..exposed others to the magic of their otherwise boring lives.. Its a gift he gave them...

He is completely out there and really really sick. The soundbites are scary

i believe this is true. my mom is seriously mentally ill, and has been abusing painkillers for several years. hearing the sound bites from charlie sheen over the past few days, he sounds a LOT like my mom.

Absolutely sickening that this is now being splashed across network television this way. Unfortunately his family probably cannot get a handle on him because of his massive wealth, and he is married I believe. Very sad, very sick. At some point w/ one of these celebrity meltdowns we're going to have a ringside seat to another senseless death.

He's been on drugs for a very, very long time and I'm betting that he may be bi-polar. I've known many bi-polar people who self medicate by either drinking or doing drugs, and that just makes matter worse and their behaviour gets even more out of control.

I was listening to Bob and Tom this morning and Tom brought up an excellent point.

He's so far gone that he hasn't hit rock bottom yet - and he hopes that he will live through it when he does.

He's just so far gone - he still doesn't think that he has a problem. I feel so bad for his kids, and wonder if people like Robert Downey Jr. have tried to talk him down?

The people I feel sorry for are the ones that love him. They must be feeling so helpless right now.

well, no he has not hit rock bottom, but it is NOT just drugs! I have many, many friends that use to the extreme ( including myself thou 27 years sober), and they still are able to at least talk a good talk, Charlie has other symptoms that are very much of the mental health issue..
like I first posted...psychosis in nature.

Yeah, I've known and loved more addicts than I want to think about. the thing is, Charlie is eerily like some of them-the men, beligerant, confused, arrogant, delusional yet confident. He thinks he's clever. He thinks he's a Rock Star from Mars. From Mars maybe ... it's hard to watch but pretty familiar. I walked away from them because I couldn't help, wasn't responsible. Two of them died, one is brain damaged and not recognizable to me. I don't see a good future for him unless something just short of a miracle happens. I would tell everyone who knows him to stay clear so they don't get caught in the crossfire. For sure, his kids should be protected.

Maybe his family is trying to get help for him but it can be hard sometimes. I got the impression that his father blames much of this on drug abuse but that was before these weird tirades. Who knows what he thinks now.

My thoughts exactly. ::yes:: I have only seen commercials / promos for GMA & 20/20. Told my DH last night I don't know why ABC would show those interviews. Not something I want to watch. :sad2:

Sad for his family. They must be broken hearted.
