Wow - filed taxes on Monday/refund received Saturday!

Crazy. Held back submitting since we itemize and claim tuition deduction till this past Monday and already have money back!

Now to file state taxes - have to send them almost $500....

Same thing happend to us. We filed at the end of January on a Friday night, our refund was deposited that next Friday morning, a week before the scheduled date Our KS and MO state refunds only took 3-5 days too.

I hope they are as speedy processing paper returns this year. We have a form that won't allow us to efile, I really don't want to wait 2-3 months for a refund

I filed taxes on Monday and got state back on Friday. That's the fastest I've ever seen state come through. We are supposed to get federal next friday, which also seems pretty quick.

Not us, we filed on Feb 7th or 8th and were supposed to receive our refund on the 18th. Logged in to find that because of a processing delay it wont be here until March 1st!

We actually filed a few days before the 14th and should get ours next Friday, too. And we got state two days ago. I was so shocked to see the balance in our acct. that I called my bank. It took me awhile to figure out that the state refund was here! Boy, did I feel dumb.

This is our situation too although I think we filed around the 5th or 6th but it didn't matter since the govt didn't even begin processing them until the 14th.

Your post prompted me to check my account... I got my federal back already too! Can't hardly beat a 4 day turn around.

Mine says it is supposed to be deposited today---a bank and federal holiday. We'll see. It was processed on the 15th; I had to wait because I itemize and have the teacher deduction. It seems strange that it is scheduled for a Monday. In the past I believe all deposits were made on Fridays.

I'm surprised that people are getting them so fast.

I filed our the first week of Feb but because of the delay with the IRS forms, it wasn't submitted until Feb 14 and accepted Feb 15.

According to this chart and the IRS website, the direct deposit should go in on Friday, Feb 25.
