I just had to share this with all of you. We are trying to get someone to transfer points to us from BCV for an April 2009 trip, thus far no luck. So, today while DH was at work I got to thinking, ya know we are going to spend about 1000 on a transfer, what would it cost to do an add on at BCV or BWV? SO i placed a call to our guide. He was not there so left a message. When DH came home, I said "Hon, I called Nick about the possibility of an add on at BCV or BWV." DH said well thanks Hapy Mother's day. I just sent a check for an add on on Monday! Way to excited!!!!

Now a question. I remeber reading somewhere on here about AKV. See the original points we own are at Jambo and the add on that my DH surprised me with is at Kindai. When are those points that we just purchased going to be able to be used? I know we won't be charged maintance fees until next spring. I thought I remember reading that Kindai points sold will be able to be used at other resorts not AKV until it officially opens. Is that correct or just wishful thinking?

Kidani points. You can not use any Kidani points for bookings before the May 2009 opening. If you have a UY that qualifies, a few don't get 2008 points - early UYs, you will get 2008 points that can be banked but not used until 2009. You will get an equal amount of points to be used at SSR only as an incentive. And as you said no maintenance on the 2008 and none to pay in general until it opens.

I am totally AKV illiterate. If you own both Kidani and Jambo, can these points be combined for any AKV stay? It is still considered one resort, right? Not buying there but curious.

Yes, it's one resort and the points can be combined!

There will be differences between the 2 parts of the resorts. In Kidani the 1 bedrooms will have 2 full bathrooms, and the 2 bedrooms will have 3. If you get a chance to go to SSR and see the models of Kidani, they are beautiful! Also, in Kidani there will be dedicated 2 bedrooms with 2 Q's. In Kidani, 1 bedrooms will accomodate up to 5 adults, and 2 bedrooms up to 9.

No concierge in Kidani, no value in Kidani. Standard view in Kidani will include a parking lot view, in Jambo, the only parking lot views are value.

I'm sure there's lots of things that people can add. I for on, do look forward to seeing the pool/water area at Kidani!
