So I was stuck in Buffalo for a full day, yesterday. 1st flight booked was cancelled at 10:00 am (1:30 pm flight). 2nd flight booked was cancelled at 3:00 pm (6:30 flight). Luckily I was in the hotel monitoring the internet. I call MS and explain my plight. CM puts me on hold for about 5 min. then comes back on and tells me that she was able to credit me my points for the night, considering the situation, and hopes that I can be home soon. I was floored! I mentioned my grocery delivery with Garden Grocer, and she said that GG had already been in contact with Bell Services and all was fine.
Today: We were luckily able to get the first flight on SWA that actually made it out of BUF. 9am BUF to Baltimore... Baltimore to Orlando (we were 50 min. late, and the connecting flight held while we deplaned and ran to the gate! apparently there were 30 of us!)
We arrive finally in Orlando - we are thankful! and we take our ME to the airport. Lots of people.
And what do we get when we check in? The best view of Saratoga Springs - Room 1425. We are right across from DTD. Our view is directly across from Fultons. I hadn't requested anything. I was thinking we'd be relegated to the Carousel, or even far away in the new area - can't remember the name. But again I was floored.
And so our rough start has been washed away, and all I can say is thanks DVC - for being so understanding!
