well i just posted a stack of my old books, a couple days ago, and one has sold already! no its not a big money maker, just a couple bucks, but I am glad to rid my house of some clutter, and I hope the rest sell too!

That's great! Good luck selling the rest of them. :)

Check out this great site paperbackswap.com. You mail your books to members which costs about $2.50 and then get a credit to order a book from someone else. I like it better than Amazon because shipping has gotten so high on Amazon it's hard to sell anything. And this way you get a book back too!

I posted my old textbooks from undergrad and grad school a few weeks ago along with DBF's books. I stuck our Europe travel books on the list as well as a hard covered novel.

So far, I've sold the majority of them and made over $450 after paying for packaging materials (a few padded envelopes and bubble wrap) and shipping. DBF hasn't done as well but he's still sold 2 out of 5.

Yes, Amazon fees have been high (over $100) BUT I haven't had to pay ebay/paypal fees or deal with any buyers. I am amazed at how easy it has been and wish I had more items to list!
