wouldnt it make sense to allow onsite guests to get EMH bracelets at their resort

i think this may be a good idea for 2 reasons:

1) it would allow any guests who are arriving late to their resort to relax and take their time getting to the EMH park

2) it would allow any guests who have returned to their hotels for a swim or whatever you do to relax and return to the EMH park without having to get into another line after waiting to get into the park at night

i dont remember anyone posting anything about any real difficulties in obtaining the bracelets but it sure would make things a bit easier especially during the busy season.

There were many places to get the bracelets so the lines were not a problem but it would be great to be able to get the bracelets at the resort - in fact DH and I were discussing that at the parks we just flashed our room keys - the CM didn't check the dates or anything - so some people could take advantage of that - If you could only get the bracelets at your resort it could cut down on some that might try to get bracelets that shouldn't.

I think that's a SUPER idea, it would be nice to have the bracelets ahead of time!

But then, an unscrupulous guest could pass the room ID card off to an offsite friend at the park so they could get a wristband. Plus the wristbands do not have the name of the park, nor the date on them. So some people might use them on another night when they weren't staying onsite.

It's not a perfect system, but it seems to work.

I think that is a great idea also!! If people wanted to let others use their room key they still could in the park so I dont think that matters. I think it would make it easier.

I think it sounds like a good idea, but it might affect how they track the number of people... when you get the bracelet at the park, I think you're most likely staying, at least for a little while.

I dunno, that's just the first thought that came to mind. I went in March and didn't have a problem getting a wristband for any of the parks.

Since you can get your wristband any time from two hours before official closing time to an hour (or later) before EMH closing time, there is no reason for a late arriving guest to think they have to rush to the park. Also, there are so many places in the park to get the wristband that lines really don't seem to be a problem. I have waited on lines to check in to the hotels though, and see how difficult a time the CMs have managing that. If you add more people waiting in that line for wristbands, (especially since everyone at the resort qualifies for that perk) well, talk about waiting in a long, unrelaxing line.
