We have ressies for Ohana's Sunday night, just a day trip... but WDW has rooms at the Values for $67 or PORS for $83, would you consider either of these worth the money to save yourself a drive home in the traffic from the 4th... we live an hour away.
Also I was thinking I could get the room and surprise DFiance' who thinks we are driving home the next day. Our SP's are in blackout, BUT we do have Uni/IOA Ap's so we could go there Monday... what do you think?

What would be the pros of PORS over ASM?

I would stay over in a shot!!! POR is a wonderful spot. Larger room, larger beds. More 'adult' theming. Decent sit-down restaurant, nice lounge area. I would stay there, but wouldn't have a problem with the AllStars either. We stayed there and it was just fine. Especially since you'll really just be sleeping there. Go for it!!!

the deal seems too good to pass up, great prices on a holiday night! Ease of just taking a bus back to the room after Ohana's is nice too... I think I may do it, hopefully there will still be rooms left when I call later (gotta find DFiance's CC to call and reserve...lol)!

I'd stay rather than drive home late at night. We live about 2 hours from WDW and if we were going to be eating there I know we would want to stay. I'd pick POR over a value resort any day, especially if only over a $16.00 difference.

I'd stay and enjoy swimming and relaxing. We do over night stays all the time around our hometown.
IN fact we are doing that tomorrow night at the new Gaylord Texan!
