Would you want Zorro as a talking character to be added to WDW/DL?🤺

I edited the question for a better discussion.

I mean, maybe. I'd probably like it, but I don't see a lot of mainstream appeal.

Oh yes, I am quite familliar with the original. I didn't know there was a new one coming.
Hence why I would think Disney would not miss free advertisement.
No, not necessary to add a hero figure with a sword.
Some people look into doing fencing because of Zorro. He’s a Mexican American who is a man of peace and only uses his sword in self defense or a just reason.

He's not actually Mexican. Don de la Vega lives in, and is presumably born in, California when it was under Spanish rule. I believe he is believed to trace his heritage to Spain, where he did go for his education.

You’re right. He is born in New Spain (California), that’s why I called him Mexican American but he is really Spanish American I believe (it depends on what version people are talking about). I hope Disney will go with a New Spain version since that time period is rarely covered in USA history.

Yeah, I think Frontierland does make more sense. With the new show, It think it's a definitely possibility that they will have him, but at Disneyland. They do quick promotional characters all the time.
Well DL would make sense. He could show up every September 9th (California statehood day) as a special appearance character. Zorro voted for statehood/citizenship in the 2005 movie (so it would make sense in that regard).

If the new show is successful, it might be a little juice for Frontierland. Of course, Disney doesn't own Zorro the concept, so they might not want to go all in on him. Still, it'd be a decent addition, even if just a character meet.
