Would you want Jordan to be added to the World Showcase?

Ohhh, it would be lovely if there was some way to have a high end restaurant with delicious fresh offerings from all over the Middle East. So much of the food from this part of the world is vegan and vegetarian, it would be a natural way to adapt to new demands and a great way to bring farm-to market into the mix for those of that mind. There is dairy free chocolate and all other sorts of wonderful things that would accommodate so many dietary issues, it would be splendid.

In my head I'm imagining something like high end vibe of The Wicked Spoon in Vegas, only not a buffet per se', maybe you can purchase as you go by the serving like at an ice cream place and chose as you walk through like at Chipotle... only then sit at luxurious seats which are assigned like at Chef Mickey... makes me happy to daydream about it

Agreed! As long as I'm letting my stomach make the decision, I'd love to see something for India as well.

I would like to see any country added to the World Showcase. I do not think we should base the addition on what Disney IP can be shoehorned into it though.

Disney will only base decisions most likely on what IP they could attach to a new WS country. But Jordan would be a great 21st century addition period.

If we are just putting in some votes - Brazil, India or Australia would be my ask. And they need to reimagine the whole US pavilion - because quite frankly - it needs a big ole wooden roller coaster.

I know, that’s why I thought Jordan would be a great compromise. I’m half Jewish so I would love a Levantine country in the showcase.

I love Morocco and spent a considerable amount of time there several years ago. It shares enough general Arabic culture with Jordan that it would be redundant to the average WDW guest. Both are beautiful countries.

I don't think it was any more complicated than Disney chose countries that the majority of Americans, who are 80-90% of the people at WDW, are at least vaguely familiar with. The Morocco pavilion already gets a lot of side eye from people who are afraid to try the restaurants.

I dunno. NBA basketball fell pretty flat in Disney springs. Not sure an entire area in world showcase should be dedicated to one player.

Boo!!!!!!! A pavilion dedicated to Michael Jordan would totally make Epcot a frequent destination for me.

When I saw the thread title, I thought "YES definitely!" Then I thought, "He's probably talking about the country Jordan. Oh, whatever." Ho hum.

On a more serious note, I'd prefer Israel, but I realize that may be considered too religious for some.

They should get rid of Canada, since it's in North America, just like the U.S.

They should get rid of all but one of the following: UK, France, Germany or Italy, since they're all in Europe.

They should ditch China, since they also have Japan.

Actually I posted in another thread that they should add Ukraine. We do not have any Eastern European countries, and putting Ukraine there would also be a nod to solidarity with them.
