Would you tire of the parks if you moved to Orlando?

Maybe - but for me going to WDW is vacation and if I moved to Orlando it wouldn't feel like a vacation anymore.

I'm a local to Disneyland, I can get there in an hour, and I haven't tired of it but it's def not a vacation since I don't stay over.
My DIL never lived more than 40 miles from Disneyland growing up and until she started dating my son at age 21, she had NEVER been. She has been to WDW five or six times for debate competitions, conventions and etc and NEVER seen to the parks. She's just not a Disney person. But our oldest Granddaughter made her first DL trip at age 2, so looks like she will take after our son, not her mother.
But I agree, if I went frequently, it wouldn't be a vacation anymore. I follow a couple of cruise vloggers who take a cruise almost every month. That is their job, and their observations can be interesting, but they reflect their experience working on a ship, not vacationing. They complain even the Starlink internet is slow. Well, yes, if you are uploading 15 minute HD videos every day, that would be an issue, but I am on vacation and I'm not using any internet. I'm staring at the ocean from the deck.

I think I would--because it seems like almost every blogger/vlogger/podcaster gets seriously burned out. On The Dis Unplugged, most of them don't even seem to like going. I used to dream of moving there, but not anymore. I'll keep it as a vacation!

I've been staying with family for the past few months and they live relatively close to the parks (1 1/2 hours or less). We enjoy going in after work for a few hours or on the weekends. Sometimes it does get boring so I like to hop over to Universal as well. If I lived here full time, I probably would get tired of it.

It doesn't feel like a vacation unless I'm doing a weekend trip at either Disney or Universal.

I can't say for sure but my guess is no. I go at least twice a year and some years 3 or 4 times. I think like others I'd just hop in for a hour or two maybe once a week or something like that. I had a brother who lived in Orlando and never once stepped foot in any of the parks, I think his son and wife might have gone to WDW a couple of times.

I definitely would. I think it would be fun to pop in for awhile, but like anything else I do too much I get bored.😀.

I don't think I would get tired of it, I just think it would be different. It would be nice to hop over for a couple of hours, maybe get something to eat, ride a few rides and go home. It would be fun, but not like a vacation.

When a person goes on vacation, generally they walk away from their life for a week. No thoughts about "real life" stuff like work, getting a dental cleaning, kids schoolwork, bills, calories LOL. If you lived there and went to the park, it would be more like a fun thing to do. Like going to the movies, or the beach. Something fun for a few hours but you don't really walk away from your life.

Part of the fun of vacation is planning, packing, traveling, staying in a hotel, eating meals out etc. If you lived there it would be more of an outing than a true vacation. Still fun, just different.

It’s probably a lot different going for fun than as a vlogger. As a vlogger you’re “working” and need to report on every little thing. When you go for fun, you just do what you want and you’re not forced to go if you don’t want to.

I’m an AP and we live 20-30 minutes from the parks. We’re there at least once per month, sometimes every weekend, sometimes we skip if it’s a more crowded season. Some days we go we do no rides, some days we rope drop and leave after lunch. Some days we go in the afternoon for dinner.

Honest Answer... within the first month. I can't even take the place for over 4 days in a row and I've always been considered a fan.
