Top Thrill Dragster, a $25 million dollar investment, has been dubbed by the park as the Worlds First Strata-Coaster and for good reason. After pulling out of the station the train will prepare to launch you at 120 mph in just four seconds. Scream now because you wont have much air left in you as the train hits the monolithic 420 foot tower. On your way up the vertical spike youll twist 90º, as weve seen over at Knotts on their Xcelerator. Youll get a breath-taking view at the top for about half a second before you take the 400 foot plunge back to Earth while spiraling 270º around its axis, and youll hit nearly 120 mph again before you cross the finish line and slam into the magnetic brakes. From Launch to brakes the ride will take only about 15 seconds of your life, but its sure to be 15 seconds that you will remember forever. The ride will boast 6 heavily themed 16 seat, 5 car trains with a similar restraint system to Xcelerator. Due to the themed look the first and last car will only seat 2 riders while the center three cars will hold 4 riders each in 2 rows. Each of the six trains will have its own custom paint job as well: Black Cherry, Indy Green, Fluorescent Purple, Cobalt Blue, Sunshine Yellow and Sunset Red.
