Would you pick this Saturday or Sunday (Easter) for 1 day?

I have a friend going on her first trip to Disneyland, and she has just 1 day and is only doing DL. She is thinking of going this Saturday, but that day is MM and she won't be able to make use of that. I'm telling her that Sunday might be a tad better because EMH is at DCA. But then Sunday is Easter . . . does that have any influence on crowds one way or another? (Her only choices are Saturday or Sunday) Thanks!

I would do sunday and start as early as possible. She should try to get there at least a half hour before opening and I bet she'll be able to get all of the big rides in.

I think it's going to be busy either way. It's worth noting that Deluxe APs are not blocked on Sunday, but they are blocked on Saturday (SoCal and SoCal Select are blocked both days). I felt like Saturday morning (two days ago) was a little less busy than Sunday morning (yesterday), but both days got pretty busy fairly early on. I would just plan to get there pre-rope drop on either morning and make use of FPs and Single Rider Lines when possible.
