Would you leave your luggage filled car in a DLR parking lot?

Our last night may be at Hojo, but they make you leave the parking lot at 11:00. Our flight isn't until 8:00 and we're planning on being at the park all day. So I'd have to park at Mickey and Friends or Toy Story but I'm not sure if that's a ridiculous idea. Do you think the parking lots are safe from theft?

My car was broken into when I lived in Santa Monica so I always think of that when I leave a car in any public lot.

But there must be some kind of security at the DLR lots, right...? I'm sure they have signs saying "Park at your own risk & remove valuables," but most parking lots say that.

What would you do? Does anyone know of hotels that let you park all day and/or store luggage after check-out, in case I decide to switch that last night?

I don't see the dif between leaving the luggage in the car parked at DLR vs in a hotel parking lot, well.... at least you need to pay to park at the DLR, a hotel parking lot would be more open to anyone walking by imo.

I have done it. We turn off electronics that we leave behind and carry anything with us we would be absolutely devastated to lose which honestly isn’t much. We make sure to not leave anything in view and hope for the best.

Hojo does have a locked room dedicated to luggage storage so storing your belongings at the hotel for the day and picking them up from the hotel before you go home is also an option.

That would be ideal. I thought Hojo only had luggage storage before check-in, not after check-out. I'll ask them. I did consider taking our electronics and leaving them in a locker at the park or something.

I guess the main issue is if I can store the luggage or not. Like I know at DLH you can store it as long as you need to. I assumed Hojo doesn't do that so we'd have to leave at 11:00 with our luggage and park somewhere.

many times I would park with luggage in the car twice each trip. frequently we would arrive before check-in time so we would go to the park and go to the hotel later when the room was ready and do the reverse when we are leaving. for me it seems safer than leaving a loaded car at a hotel garage or parking lot.

of course that was in the old days before reservations.
