Would you go on 4 nights wish or 5 nights dream

We had the same dilemma for our last minute Summer cruise and we opted for 4 days on the Wish because:

1. We have never sailed the Triton class of ships yet.
2. The Wish departs from Port Canaveral, which enables me the use of my DVC points to stay in a WDW resort for cheap the night before, and we are adding three days upon our return to make it a full week.
3. It's usually a bit cheaper to fly to Orlando than Fort Lauderdale from Montreal.

If the Dream departed from Port Canaveral as well it would have been a more difficult choice.

I usually prefer the longer itinerary, but I loved the Wish so that would make it a difficult decision for me.
I prefer leaving out of Port Canaveral. Whatever you decide you will have a good time!

What did you think of the wish?

Purely personal preference, but.... longer is better and the Dream is my favorite ship. We have sailed her several times, but last year sailed the WBTA on her and .... perfection! JMHO!

I've been on the Dream 2x and the Wish once.

There are things I liked about both ships and glad I've sailed on each of them. That being said, another day on a Disney ship, with Disney staff taking care of me will win out regardless of a day at home or even WDW. It's not the same. Seeing how you're getting ready for your 10th Disney cruise, you get it. They're both fantastic ships and since you're going on the Treasure in May, take the extra day on board and go for the Dream.

That's my $0.02; hopefully it helps. Happy cruising 🚢 , regardless of what you decide!:cool1:

Dream is basically the same as the Fantasy. Wish is a new ship design that has the same layout as the Treasure. There’s a bunch of discounts on the Wish sailing plus $250 obc if you use Disney Visa.

I did a 3 night Wish Thanksgiving weekend last year. Other than my super awkward dining table other cruiser who I barely spoke to. It was fine. Definitely helped out knowing the layout when I did the Treasure in February.

I am going back on the Wish Aug 1. Booked GTY with Disney Visa OBC. Then doing Mon- Sat after at WDW
