Hi all! This is my first post! I've already gathered a lot of valuable information about going to Disney from these boards...what a great resource!!! I have been to Disney many times growing up as my grandparents lived in Florida. The last time was Xmas 1998 with my fiance. We now have a 3 1/2 yr. old and an 11 month old. We are trying to plan a trip to Disney in the very near future. We are considering the above dates....both would be either before or after what is noted as their peak season. What would you all recommend...I am open to suggestions/opinions/comments etc. for the above mentioned weeks. What would be better as far as crowds, etc....or does it not matter. Thank you so much for any and all feedback! :earsgirl:

I would go 2/12-2/19 only because it is during my birthday. My problem for us would be taking our kids out of school but yours are still young so you wont have that problem. Im not sure about the crowds but decide if you are in a hurry to go or if you can wait until spring. I'm sure what ever choice you make you will have so much fun.

I would go 2/12 to 2/19. We are actually going 2/17 to 2/24. We just tend to do
our trips in Feb or Mar. because DH work is slow then. Whatever you decide have
a wonderful trip!

That sounds like a good time since Easter is so late. We're headed down a little before you, we're going to be at Pop Century 3/3-3/13. I'm hoping that we beat the crowds, although I am a little nervous that ESPN weekend is 3/3-3/6 and the Cheerleading Championships are the following weekend. Anyone been there during that time? Can you tell me what the crowds are like?

Thanks!

Go in Feb it will be less crowded and not as hot as it will be in April.

April...because you will be guaranteed warm weather. February is still too iffy. Also, few schools have breaks in April and many have high-stakes testing during that month, so attendance at the parks (by families with school-aged kids) will not be that high.
