Would you get tired of WDW if you were there for 12 days?

Nope. I'd never get tired of it!

How could you get tired of Disney? Even if you don't go to the parks on all the days there's so much to do in and around the area you would never be tired.I go once every 2-3 weeks for 1-3 days each visit and will never be tired of going there.I have a friend who goes every january, ALL of JANUARY and I so totally envy him!!

I would go just for ten days. So your family has time to relax and take a day off from the parks. For the remaining days, I would go to Universal.

When DS was younger (He's 17 now) we used to go anywhere from 12 - 15 days. With his school schedule & DH's aversion to WDW in the summer, we can only go shorter trips now.

DS & I never got tired on our longer trips. DH has never enjoyed much more than 8 days. So on several trips we would go a few days before he joined us.

At this point in our lives, I don't ever see us going back to long WDW trips again, tho. I would say a week is good for my family now. DS does get anxious to get home to his friends after that.

Soon, it'll be just DH & I or my trips with my girlfriends....I'm sure that long weekends will be about the extent of those trips.

We have been going for about a week the last few years and I always SAY we are going to take a day or two off to hang out at the pool or do something else, but then I just can't do it and we wind up at the parks anyway. We are going 11 days this June and I think this time we will REALLY take a couple of days off. I want to take DH to Kennedy Space Center as he is very interested in astronomy and space travel. We are also going to Sea World one day as we are a miltary family and Anheiser Busch is kind enough to be giving us tickets gratis. :wizard:

Search the DIS for things you've never done and plan a couple of those. Everytime we go, I manage to find a few things to do that are surprises for my family (boat rental, fishing excursion on boat or just fishing from shore, paintbrush hunt, new restaurant, horseback riding, surrey bikes, hidden mickeys, etc...)

Twelve days at the parks would be too many for me.

However, I could find plenty to do in the area without going to a Disney park every day.

I would NEVER get tired of Walt Disney World, - 12 days, 12 weeks, 12 months, 12 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me stay!!!

we were there 9 days last trip and i was in no way ready to leave. we didn't spend all day everyday in a park though and we go off season so if i had crowds and heat for that long it'd be different

We've taken a number of 3-4 day trips (never long enough) and the last three times we've visited WDW it's been for 7 nights, 8 days. Even that wasn't enough. There were always things we didn't get to do and see (including spending enough time at Fort Wilderness, where we were staying). I think two weeks would be perfect. But we'd never get tired of Disney after just 12 days.

I would go nuts!!!

We love WDW, but we prefer to go more often and go for 5 or 6 days. We love to travel but I could never stay in 1 place that long, that includes our favorite caribbean retreat. Our favorite vacations have two or three legs..5 days here then 5 days there.

:cool1: We've stayed at WDW for 15 days twice and didn't want to leave
either time !!!!!!!!! We'd stay a month at a time i we could !!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me - no!

For DH - definitely. I can't even get him to stay a full week.

I would only spend 1/2 my time at the parks and the other half just relaxing - doing SPA treatments, take a few tours etc... sounds like heaven to me!

Last year we did 15 nights at WDW and 2 nights at Nick Hotel. We were not bored. We did go to Sea World one day but the rest of the time we were at WDW and just took our time, did lots of things we hadn't done before (Family Magic Tour, Wishes Cruise, etc.) and had a great relaxing time.

This summer we're doing 11 nights at WDW and 4 nights at Universal. We also went for 5 nights in January. Believe me we never get bored!

Definitely not! We feel we need to go for at least 11 days! LoL. We did a "short" trip in Jan. (8 days) and we didn't know how we'd do everything! :teeth:

When our children were younger the longest we spent was 8 days and everyone was still loving it. Usually we would go for 4 to 6 days and felt rushed all the time. When we went for the 8 day trip we did take a couple of hours at the pool some days and went back into to the parks to do favorite rides or shows a couple of times.

For my family 12 days would have not lost the magic - each family is different though! Have a wonderful time.
