Would you get tired of WDW if you were there for 12 days?

thats a perfect length of time-you can relax at the resorts a few days and go to downtown disney -theres so much to do you wont get bored and wont feel rushed

i was there for 13 days and i didn't get 'tired' of WDW.

just make sure that you have LOADS of chill out time - this helps loads.

also go and visit some of the disney resorts - i really enjoyed that.

have fun!

NO WAY... We NEVER get bored our trips are never shorter than 10 days usually 2 weeks. To us it just makes it more magical. You can actually take your time and enjoy the resorts and parks. We go every year and still watch the planning video and say "we have to do that this time" We still haven't done or seen it all. You will have a ball. Have a great trip.

I absolutely would not get bored and I speak from experience.

We have been to WDW every year except 2 when my DS was first born since 1995. We started out doing 13 day trips and have done as little as 7. We are now up to 15 or 16 day vacations and I wouldn't trade it or change it unless it was due to time constraints or other factors.

Last year we did 2 weeks in the summer. We did 2 days at the beach and 1 day at Busch Gardens Tampa. We even got to see the space shuttle take off from Titusville. This was by far our best vacation we have ever had. It was our first summer one and it really got us hooked. This year we are again going for 16 days. We plan on doing 2 beach days again and 3 days in each of the 4 major parks plus a half a day extra in MK. Will we get tired of WDW?? Absolutely not. The beauty of having more time is that you are not in a fever rush to see everything in a few days. We can take our time, stop and smell the roses, ride things more than once if we so please, eat at more great restaurants, swim more, take more time for doing the non traditional stuff (looking for hidden mickey's, taking a different path or trail, stopping in AK and really looking and enjoying the little exhibits on the paths, looking at the details, etc.). We get to spend more time in inoventions, which we can't do on the shorter trips.

Plus you have a 1 year old. I remember what it's like to be at WDW with a younge one. It takes A lot longer to see everything, from manuvering the parks with a stroller, naps, baby swaps, etc.

Have a great vacation and don't second guess the longer time. You will have a blast and it may turn out to be your most enjoyable vacation ever.

With the range of ages of your little ones, you'll find PLENTY to do, especially if you follow the suggestions of others regarding taking the opportunity to see some of the other offerings of Central Florida. We always do Universal and try some of the other parks, too. Our usual stay has been about 12 days and we still don't want to go home. We try to book the latest flights and go from a park directly to the airport to extend the Magic some more. pixiedust:

Have fun and relax! :hippie:

Not bored at all. We usually stay around 9-10 days and back in 2004 we did get to stay for 2 weeks and we loved it. We just didnt feel as rushed. We had plenty of time to do what we wanted in the parks, time to enjoy our resort and DTD.

We went for 11 days last May and still had so many things we wanted to do but just didn't have enough time!!! I don't think I'll ever get tired of WDW.

Two pages of replies and I have to agree with everyone else. Every trip is planned according to what we can afford that year, but if I had my druthers, it would be at least two weeks each trip! Our longest stay was 16 days (all offsite to keep it affordable), but every single day was magical!

I have never been lucky enough to go for longer than 8 days 7 night. . .but I don't think I would get bored at all. I would change my usual plan, and relax much more!

12 days? At one time?

We can do everything at the disney world in 3 1/2 days and be looking for something else to do.

Why do you need to ride so much stuff?

Don't you get tired of the same things?

I like to see TV sometimes. That never gets old.

:rolleyes1

we have been for 3 weeks before .There is so much to do and the more time you have the more relaxing it is as you can take your time .Disney is not just the Parks.
Pools ,Restaurants, walks .
Oh so much . :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hey guess what?? We are going from June 5-16 this year. Almost the exact same dates! This will be my 5th trip of 2006 and I never get tired of it!!!

You should seriously consider buying annual passes instead of the 10 day tickets! It's a personal descision but, look at the discounts that you can get on hotel rooms and food (with the Disney Dining Expierence card - 20% off most sit down and some counter service meals!). Plus if you find that 12 days just wasn't enough, you might find yourself back in the world before your tickets expire!

What ever you decide to do, I think you will have a great time!!

I am the disney nut in our family--noone else! They would not like 12 days. One thing I did last time was take a half day/morning or whatever and look in ALL the shops. I had never been able to do that before, we usually just race right past them. I took my time and really enjoyed it.

I envy 12 days though!!

l would LOVE to go for that long. we have only ever been for a week. dh gets only 1 week vacation, no matter how long on the job. i myself, get 4 weeks a year. So it would be ok for me, but not him. And we do everything together as a family. I would love to stay longer with just ds4, but that would not be fair to dh! i consider myself lucky that we can go at all, no matter how long the stay!!!!! just to go!!!!!! i would check out ALL the resorts, shops, just everything at a nice pace.
HAVE FUN!!!! oh the envy........ :teeth:

No way you'll get bored, there is so much to do, parks, tours, restaurants, stuff outside disney (seaworld, etc) lounging by the pool and getting some sun. Dbf and I went for 12 days last year and were upset we had to leave but decided it was a nice long good vacation, we felt well rested and ready to go back home. However this year we are going for 16 days!!! woo hoo  and I can't wait. I have so much planned I wish we had more days to do it all!!! and although I'm def in the minority...for our 16 day trip we only get 4 day passes because we like to sit by the pool and relax, go to the beach and just take it as it comes. I just love being in disney!!! One thing to consider is be careful because 12 days is very addicting..you wont be able to go back to short vacations again!!!

When we would go for two weeks, it was great. Having the extra time meant we didn't have to rush around trying to do everything. We got more relaxation time.

In 2002, I was at WDW for 12 days and I definitely could've stayed longer. You never know when you will have the opportunity to go again; at least, I don't, so I'd go for as long as I could afford to and just hope that I can go again in the near future.

I'm from the UK and I think most Brits travelling over stay for a fortnight. We certainly didn't get bored last time but we didn't spend every day in the parks.... we plan to spend 8 or 9 days in the parks and then we have a day in each universal park, a day at seaworld, a day at discovery cove and at least one day of shopping.

I love it all :goodvibes
