Would you get tired of WDW if you were there for 12 days?

We are scheduled to be at WDW June 3-14. Part of the time includes an on-property conference for my husband. We are buying 10 day tickets. We have been several times before but now I am getting worried that in 12 days it will lose some of its magic. My kids are 15, 8 and 1. We are used to traveling with them to Disney at all ages so that is not an issue. We tend to go every other year but have never stayed this long. Does anyone have any experience with a long visit like this?

Nope, wouldn't get bored.

If you have that kind of time, you can look around a bit more. Swim a little. Head over to Universal. Do something off-site (like that Titanic exhibit). GO TO SEA WORLD!

And you can take in the Hoop-Dee-Doo, have dinners in other hotels.

Give the kiddies to hubby and take in a tour!

Just got back in early Feb. from an 11-day WDW trip.
It was our THIRD trip within a year (10 days, 9 days, 11 days).
We are going back again this May for 8 more days.

We live in the Kansas City area.
We buy AP's.
Flying is very inexpensive and we stay at ALL STAR with low AP rates.
We go to the parks every day we are there.

We LOVE it.
The MAGIC does NOT "wear out" for us.

If it does for some, I feel sorry for them.

Another Kansas City Disney nut. Our last trip was 10 days. I was not ready to come home. We still had soooo many things on our list to do. Lots of things outside the parks--at the resorts, DTD, etc. We just can never seem to fit it all in. So much to do.

I know I wouldnt get bored.. That would give me extra time to enjoy some of the things I wouldnt normally get to do.. such as taking a day off from parks and swimming in pool at hotel, downtown disney, maybe even Universal Studios one day or just taking more time in the parks and not being so rushed..

the very FIRST time we were in the world we spent 12 nights...kids were 5 and 2. by the last night we were ready to go home. the magic was still there but the kids were just a little too young to enjoy it as much as i did..and I was 35.

No.... I don't think I'd ever get bored...just more time to relax and take our time and see everything we'd want and not feel RUSHED !!! I think I would feel like I was "truely" on vacation !!! Enjoy

We have been for 14 days before and LOVED every minute. We went to the waterparks, Sea World, leisurly strolled through the parks, went to other resorts for dinner and to look around, ect. My son was 6yo at the time and he loved every minute of it ! This trip we are taking my parents and going for 11 days and i am looking forward to every minute !

Our normal stays are 12 days. This year i wanna push it to 14. Its nice to spend days just at the hotel, and pool. Or to go to Sea World, or the outlets. I would go to Universal except i dont like rollercaosters. But there is so much to do in the Orlando area. You could do so much in 12 days. Plus with all the tours, activitys, shows and things to do at disney 12 days almost isnt enough! (Sorry i didnt spell check this)

I agree with the others, and here in the uk its pretty standard for us to come over for 2 weeks at a time, haven't been bored yet. Consider getting a car for a few days to explore the malls or Seaworld, it really does break it up for you, but I think having time to really enjoy my disney hotel would be great as well as all the other activities: surrey bikes, golf, water parks, downtown disney, Fort Wilderness petting zoo and hayrides.... nah don't think I could get bored

My husband and I have actually talked about this. Taking like 14 days and hitting some parks and just relaxing at CSR, going to Downtown Disney, touring some other resorts (we do that now), and such. Sounds great to me!

Definitely not! We have been for 14 days twice and loved it so much that we went for 21 days last year. It just gave us time to do everything we wanted to do at a more leisurely pace and allowed us to enjoy everything so much more. Going back for 21 days in July and almost wished we'd booked for longer!

Our honeymoon was 12 days and I cried because we had to leave on our last day. The closest we have gotten to that is last July's trip of 10 days. I'm hoping next summer will be 12-14 days. I have oodles of time in summer - I'm a teacher. It's more up to DH's work schedule if we can stay that long.

if your worried about getting bored i would slit your stay at two resorts that way you get somthing different to look at

We are going for 2 weeks in june and I still feel like I am going to be crunched for time!! There is soooo much to do and just not enough time! I plan taking it much slower, hanging at the resort a couple of days, visiting some of the disney resorts (since we are staying off-site) downtown disney, the boardwalk, two days at each park........I don't have enough time!! Maybe next time we will do three weeks!!
