My (very small) department just combined with another (very small) department. There is a total of 7 of us now. Last week, one of my co-workers invited two people to her party this weekend in front of me (without inviting me).

I don't know her very well but this seems INCREDIBLY rude to me. I would never invite someone out in front of a third person who was not being invited. I think she is trying to establish herself as the queen bee...she is pretty aggressive and not very pleasant.

I don't have to like the people I work with, but geesh. I would never treat another person this way. Ah, well, water off a duck's back!
