The MA school district that our DGC attend has the week before Easter next year as it's break. That's the week that begins April 17th. Our DFamily wants to have a beach activity vacation as opposed to WDW (and Cape May just wouldn't be warm enough!
but that would be "Free!"), and HHI would be the better drive. Just how "busy" is VB during that last week of April. I have to borrow 100+ points just to get them the 1 bedroom, and the HHI reservation would be much cheaper for even a 2 bedroom.
My thinking is that with all of the talk of losing a reservation, why have the VB to cancel if I have to use those points for HHI which is what they would prefer?
Do you think if I fail to book anything at VB at 7 months there would be no 1 bedrooms left for them in case HHI is unavailable? The Spring break factor is the real unknown. How many of us would be going to the beach instead of WDW? I've never been to WDW during Holy week, but isn't that and the week after and Christmas/NY the busiest time at WDW?
What would you do? Book VB or just wait to 7 months?

PS. I've thought that just at 7 months try to get HHI and if it's not available, go for the next day for a reservaton at VB. I would still be in the preference time for VB by a day, but that's really cutting it close, I know.
