Would you book free dining and Club Level together?

Just for fun I decided to see what types of rooms were available at the Deluxe Resorts for free dining and I was surprised that they are offering Club Level rooms as a room option. Now maybe some people would want to stay Club Level and free dining to have the IPO Cast Members make all their ADR's and etc. However I can't see the value in it because chances are they won't be there for the continental breakfast and come back for the hot hors d'ouvres between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, since they would have all these ADR's made and so they don't waste their dining credits. So would anyone stay in a Club Level room if they are planning on doing free dining?

I wanted to at WL but when I called to switch the res over there wasn't availability there.
I will def do it if I can find one I like at a good ( my ) price point.
We are currently booked in 2 rooms at WL.
Not fussy on where we stay - but I wanted a deluxe that slept all 6 of us.
I think it would be great!

In 2006 we stayed conceirge at the Beach Club (awesome:goodvibes) & we had the free dining. It was way too much food to have both. We missed alot of the club level offerings because we were so stuffed with the DP. I was toying with doing CL at CR this October but we will have the dining plan so we are just going with a regular mk view room.

You could also try BWI deluxe concierge which also sleeps 6. I've always been lucky to have a code available for that room type.

To me the FD is really most worth it and the only time I really use it with a Value resort. The AP or even GP discounts are usually greater for us on the moderate or deluxe hotels. I guess you have to figure how much you will save/spend with free dining in relation to the type of room. That has been our experience though.

We are booked for Poly CL with FD in September. We planned on going anyway, the FD is just an added bonus. We are going to use the table credits for a couple signature dining meals. Plus, dd is a picky eater, so for her, I am sure we will end up using the counter service for her meals.

I would never pay for both dining and CL.

We did book both last Dec. I didn't want to have to worry about anything. Loved the fact that we had drinks/snacks available all the time. Yes its lots of food but my husband LOVES to eat and that is part of the reason that he will go to Disney. If you book sign meals or use room service it takes 2. We weren't concerned about getting the most for our money. (although I am sure that we did save) We would do it again.

We have yet to stay club level at WDW but do at other hotels we stay at. We only use club level for breakfast and planning. If we happen to be at the hotel during the evening offerings we might grab a bite but that is it. To me, club level food is just a bonus for a nibble here or there. I wouldn't make a meal of out it. I certainly wouldn't come back in the afternoon just to get some appetizers. If we did club at WDW we would do dining too.

Probably not...that seems like food overload...but then again that could be a good thing! Book it and take tons of pics for us :lmao:

Its great for breakfast in the morning and the food they serve between 5-7pm OMG is so good. I still dream about the pineapple bread. Its like a pineapple upsidedown cake but not as sweet. They have uncrustables during the day. When we checked in we were told to grab drinks from the lounge and put them in the mini fridge. Awww just thinking about I wish I was there. Well at least I got to experience it once. How much is the room per night if I can ask? In 2004 I paid FL rate of $300 a night. Concierge Garden View. Another thing I did was have them deliver chocolate covered strawberries (for me) and the white chocolate Mickey for DD11 (now 15). They were suppose to be the tuxedo strawberries but they weren't, no big deal they were half the price and twice as many. Gotta Love it

To answer the OP question. No I wouldn't do them both at the same time, its a waste. I also love FD at a value. The difference in price is usually $18 for a FL rate to rack rate so to feed 3 people for $18, nothing beats that.
