Would you be offended if your child's teacher gave them these?

Also, most boys' pants come in snaps until size 12 or so. Snaps are easier for most kids than buttons. DS could do snaps, but not buttons for the longest time, so we made sure we got the pants with snaps.

Off topic(sort of) but why do manufacturers make low waist little girls' pants and shirts that are too short to cover the low waist? I swear seeing baby butt cracks all the time now. With all the predators out there, clothing really needs to cover the privates, including the bottom.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do.

I have never/will never help a child unbutton their pants. I'm not even going to go there with that one.

When a child comes to me and says he can't unbutton his pants I tell him to ask a friend for help.

Then I nicely tell the child that he needs to tell mom he should not wear those to school anymore until he can button/unbutton them himself.

COME ON parents. Shop around!

Target, The Children's Place, & Lands End ALL sell elastic waist pants in lots of colors. My son wore them until the 4th grade or so.

Heck, my senior in high school still wears elastic waist pants :lmao:
