Ok, after about 5 revisions and all the warnings about not taking advantage of EMH except at AK, how does this sound:
July 7th, Thursday: Epcot opening
Break
MK by 2:00
Crystal Palace: 4:30 dinner
Parade and Fireworks

July 8th, Friday: Blizzard Beach
Hotel to clean up
HDDR at 5:00
DQ

July 9th, Sat.: AK-EE
Breakfastasaurous: 10:30
MGM by 4:30 for 5:30 parade
Rides and Fantasmic

July 10th, Sun: Tyfoon Lagoon
Epcot afternoon
LeCellier: 7:00
Illuminations

July 11th, Mon: MGM
50's Prime Time: 12:05
BB or TL afternoon till close

July 12th, Tues: MK
AK by 3:00 to catch 4:00 parade
Stay late

July 13th, Wed: Last day, catch up on what we may have missed
Downtown
Shut down DQ then head offsite to hotel

Well, how's this sound? I need some reassurance here. I really had planned on doing all the late EMH but it sounds like the crowds are horrible.
Any advice is appreciated. :disrocks:

Are you getting a Fantasmic Dining package at MGM? We had had dinner around 6:30 p.m., then goofed around for a while before heading to our reserved seats at about 8:20 p.m. Although we were seated on the right, the view was fine and we were on the 8th row.
My daughter hated 50s prime time, but she's only six. She cried and said they had too many rules.
One night we were at MK when they had EMH. It was awful! We were actually trying to get out and not stay for Wishes, and it was all we could do to leave. I second all suggestions to stay away from the parks that are open late.

1972 - Disneyland
1992 - CBR
June 2005 - POFQ

CMM, Thanks for the reply. We are staying at POFQ also. It is our favorite and since it's been "rehabed" since we were there last it only can be better.
I am glad there are refrigerators in every room now as we plan to store some soft drinks and milk.

Does AK now have an EMH? I mean doesn't it open at like 7 regularly? I've never had a problem with EMH! That is, when I've been able to drag my sorry little Ahh...Self out of bed early enough! ;)

Your plan looks great to me! Lots of water and breaks in the heat of the afternoon! Smart!!!! :cool1:

I've heard that DisneyQuest is crowded on Fridays and Saturdays (locals, I guess). I don't know whether that's as prevalent during the summer when kids are in school or not. That being said, it all sounds good.

Also..I wouldn't go to BB or TL after lunch. Your wait times are going to be ridiculous. We always get to the water parks when they open, and then head back around 12:00, having ridden everything (sometimes twice) and with very little wait. Just my opinion though! :earsboy:

AK does have EMH. It either opens 1 hour earlier or stays open 2 hours later. When we were there earlier this month, EMH evenings were until 9:00.

AK EMH Mornings are a madhouse and I would totally avoid them, but the evenings were great. We had basically the entire park to ourselves. We did Kali and walked right on....Dinosaur and walked right on....Tough to be a Bug and walked right in.

I highly recommend the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood & Vine. It was worth the money and even though they are on the side, the seats we had were awesome. Not too close to the front and we sat on the outside of the row, furthest from the middle. We could see everything, and with sitting on the outside, we had no viewing problems. :goodvibes

I'm a little concerned about DQ after HDD. The show is about 2 hours and then how are you getting to DQ? You could take a bus from FW, but this could be lengthy. What are the ages in your party? You're getting up early the next morning to do AK EMH and I don't know if you'll have enough time at DQ, or be rested enough in the AM.

dgaston, we are driving to FW so no bus problems. We are late night people and early risers so I think we will be ok. Ages are 12 1/2, 24, 46 and 48. We are flexable so if we decide to skip DQ because of fatigue we can do it another day since we will have 5 days left but I doubt we will skip it. My son really enjoys DQ.
