We will be there the exact same time as you (checking in on the same date ). We are eating at TH at 10am on 5/10. This will be our 3rd time eating here. The food is really good, hot and fresh, however it is typical breakfast fare with some African flavors too. The character interaction is great, unfortunately whenever we go it is usually really busy which means the characters only come around once for us. My girls love to see Daisy, because it seems that TH is the only place where they can catch her . You will have a great time....enjoy!!!!

Its loud and crazy and fun.

There is much more room for the buffet that there was at Restrauntasaurus, and, the food seems to be a little better, but, I miss the theming there.

It's better than standard fare, but, the theming is what makes it better than going to the QS at the resort.

I don't have pictures, but I loved the food! It had something for everyone and if you going for the character interactions, you won't be disappointed. The theme is also amazing (of coarse it's Disney ) I would highly recommend it. I know there are some people out there that did not like it and wouldn't go back (but there will always be someone for every restaurant that won't like it) You will have to judge for yourselves, but IMO it was great and I would/Will go back!

Love it, love it, love it! We did nearly every character meal you can do on our last trip and this is the only one we are repeating. The food is fantastic!

I will post some pics here, I have a lot. The one thing that I will say is that if you go, request to be seated in the main room, not in "Siberia" off to the left of the entrance, closer to the restrooms. Its an overflow room and its kind of tight quarters in there. Everytime Daisy turned around I had to grab my glass because I was afraid she was going to knock it off the table with her tail.

P.S. That is Donald back behind Mickey signing autographs at another table.

We love Tusker House for breakfast. It's second only to Boma breakfast in our opinion!

We went in Dec. and really enjoyed it. There is such a huge variety of food that even people who don't want to try the more unusual items will have plenty to choose from. As a previous poster said, the room off to the left of the entrance is a bit crowded, but we were in there in Dec (we had an 8 am adr, before the park even opens) and when the characters started coming around, that was where they started. If you are there later on in the morning it probably doesn't matter since they probably just make continuous rounds, but since we were there right when they opened, we were able to see the characters (Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy) before getting into the food, so we didn't have to stop and start etc.

NOTE: Probably the best character meal at WDW for
character interaction. The food is quite varied and
for a character meal it has quite a large selection
of tasty choices. If paying Out Of Pocket, it qualifies
as one of the best price/value meals with Mickey.

And if you get the 8am ADR when there is NOT AM EMH, you will get some awesome empty Tree of Life shots! This picture was taken with my camera but we had a photopass photographer spend a good 5 mins with us and we got some beautiful pics with no one else around.

Oh and make sure you get the CM to use your camera for the Donald picture they take before you go in. When we were there, Donald did NOT come inside at all and since we didn't pay for the pictures (highway robbery) we didn't get a Donald pic.

I want to try this one. For those of you that have done a lot of character meals is this better then Ohanas? I LOVED Ohanas and would love to do it again but I'd like to try this one too! Decisions decisions.

This is my daughter's number one choice of places to eat. It was her main request when planning. She loves that you can meet Daisy and that the characters are in safari gear. The food was good and hot. The service, wasn't bad, but wasn't superb...it was really busy when we were there and the tables are kinda close together. However, we really enjoyed it and have some super pictures of dd meeting her friends.

We love the breakfast at Tusker House!! Delicious! I don't think i have any pictures of the food because I was too busy eating but they have the standard breakfast foods, with the addition of some really yummy African foods and doughnuts (and CHOCOLATE doughnuts) and CHOCOLATE crossaints as well. Yum!

The food is great, lots of choice, the juice is delicious. The servers are fun, as is the entertainment.

One of our favourite places at WDW and something we ALWAYS do whenever we go.

Sorry no pictures, but take my word, the best breakfast buffet on property.(I like it better than Boma breakfast.)
My DS loves it here, and requested again this year, Oh Yeah!
